3. Submission Materials

An external link to an audio or video recording is required. A score or work description may be uploaded optionally as a PDF if it assists understanding. The link must require no sign-in or password and must remain accessible, unchanged, until results are announced.

Audio or video recording URL

Provide a publicly accessible streaming or download link. No sign-in, individual approval, access request, or password may be required. Keep the same URL and the same content accessible until results are announced.

4. Optional Lyric Competition Entry

If your submission is a song, you may also enter the same lyrics in the 2nd ISAC International Lyric Competition.

The Lyric Competition does not offer individual feedback. The feedback option below is for the Popular & Media Music Composition Competition only.

5. Individual Feedback

The jurors' original comments and advice are written in Japanese or English. The applicant chooses the delivery language, not the original language. If the selected delivery language differs from the original, a translated version is provided. A consolidated individual feedback report compiling comments and advice from multiple jurors is sent to the registered email address within two months after the results are announced. It is independent of awards and is not a score, ranking, or request for reconsideration. Feedback can be requested only at application.

Pricing (charged in JPY; approximate USD equivalents):

• Through 17 January 2027, 23:59 GMT: JPY 5,000 (approx. USD 31; application only) / JPY 10,000 (approx. USD 63; with Popular & Media feedback)

• 18–31 January 2027, 23:59 GMT: JPY 7,000 (approx. USD 44; application only) / JPY 12,000 (approx. USD 75; with Popular & Media feedback)

• Optional simultaneous Lyric Competition entry: +JPY 2,000 (approx. USD 13). The Lyric Competition does not offer feedback.

Approximate USD amounts are based on the Bank of Japan exchange rate checked on 2 September 2026 (JPY 159.70 per USD) and are for reference only. Payment is charged in JPY; the final USD amount depends on your card issuer or PayPal exchange rate and fees.

Payment is collected online by credit card or PayPal. The form automatically blocks a fee that does not match the current GMT application period, the Popular & Media feedback option, or the simultaneous Lyric Competition entry.

7. Rules and Consent

I have read and agree to the official Competition Rules and the handling of personal data. I confirm that all co-composers consent to this application and that all necessary permissions from lyricists, performers, producers, publishers, labels, and other rights holders have been obtained. I understand that one form is required per work and that an application is valid only when both the form submission and online payment are completed within the applicable period.
